Social media policy

The project aims to foster a culture of prevention and awareness regarding natural and human-made risks among younger generations. The following content is shared on social media profiles:

• Information from the "L'attimo decisivo" website
• Excerpts from the comic strip
• Multimedia content that highlights civil protection topics
• Institutional activities promoting the comic strip
• Multimedia content related to the project

Under no circumstances can the social media profiles of "L'attimo decisivo" respond to requests for assistance. Such requests must be directed exclusively to the emergency number 112, or to other dedicated numbers (113, 115, 118, 1515, 1530, etc.) where applicable. 

For basic information on civil protection issues, please call the toll-free number 800-840-840 of the Civil Protection Department Contact Center, available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Please note that direct messaging features are not available on our TikTok and Instagram profiles. During monitored hours, we will respond to user comments related to the following subjects: 

• Questions relevant to the content of our posts,
• Requests for general information about the "L'attimo decisivo" project,
• Clarifications or further information on good civil protection practices.

All users are welcome to comment on the social media profiles of "L'attimo decisivo" to share their opinions, provided they adhere to the principles of good manners and respect for others. 

Please note the following guidelines:

• Content is moderated after publication, particularly during working hours. Comments and posts that do not meet the standards outlined on this page or that violate any applicable laws will be moderated or removed.
• Following a profile or page does not imply endorsement of the content posted. Therefore, individuals who comment on the social media profiles of "L'attimo decisivo" are fully responsible for the content they publish and the opinions they express.
• Insults, profanity, threats, or any behavior that undermines the dignity of individuals, violates the rights of minorities and minors, or contravenes the principles of freedom and equality, as well as privacy laws, will not be tolerated.
• Soliciting business and making comments that support or encourage illegal activity are prohibited.
• Content that infringes on copyright or involves the unauthorised use of registered trademarks is not allowed.
• Comments containing personal data and information (such as phone numbers, email addresses, or physical addresses) will be removed.
   

Comments and content of the following types are discouraged and may be subject to moderation:

• Comments that are not relevant to the posted topic (off-topic)
• Comments supporting or opposing political campaigns or voting recommendations
• Comments or links intended to disrupt discussions or offend those who manage and moderate social media channels
• Spam
• Repeated posts

Individuals who violate these guidelines may be banned, blocked, or reported to social media platform managers, and if necessary, to law enforcement.

The processing of personal data is conducted in accordance with the policies established on the platforms and the general terms and conditions that users accept upon registration. Any sensitive data posted in comments on the social media profiles of "L'attimo decisivo" will be removed.
